Educational opportunities are available through the Mid-America Credit Union Association are varied in delivery and offerings. In addition to the onsite meetings and conferences, we partner with Leagues from around the country in providing regional meetings, teleconferences, and Inernet sessions. Self-study courses, national meetings, conferences, and Internet sessions are also offered through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
Education and career advancement in the credit union movement is not only achieved through educational sessions, but also through volunteer opportunities. Volunteering as a credit union chapter representative or as a member of one an Association Committee also lends a valuable opportunity to develope one's personal career.
The Association maintains an extensive libary of training aids for credit union and chapter use. In the form of videotape and instructional programs, books, and manuals, the subject matter covers all segments of the credit union movement. Also, current and past issues of credit union periodicals are maintained for use by credit union personnel.
Scholarships are available from the Mid-America Credit Union Association to further your career and knowledge in the credit union movement.
